TIRE INSTALLATION IN SALINA, UTAH

If you need new tires mounted and balanced, that's what we do every day at our shop on South State Street. Every installation gets new valve stems, a full computer balance, and a TPMS check before your vehicle leaves the bay.

Most jobs are done same-day, usually in under an hour. That goes for a set of all-seasons on a commuter car just as much as 35-inch tires on a lifted truck.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE PRICE

A lot of shops will slap a new tire on your rim and call it good. We don't work that way. Every tire installation at our shop includes the same full process, from a single replacement tire to a full set:

Old tire pulled off and the wheel checked for cracks, bends, or corrosion

New tire mounted on rim-safe equipment, safe for factory alloys and aftermarket wheels

Computer balancing so you don't feel a shake once you're up to highway speed

A new valve stem on every tire, every time, no exceptions

TPMS sensors checked and relearned so your dash reads correctly

Lug nuts torqued to the manufacturer's spec, not just tightened by feel

Your old tires hauled off and disposed of properly

A quick look at your brakes and suspension while the wheel's already off

HOW IT WORKS

1

Check-In

We confirm your tire size and fitment before anything comes off the vehicle.

2

Old Tires Off

We pull the old tires and take a look at the wheels themselves for damage.

3

New Tires On

Mounted on rim-safe equipment, so factory and custom wheels are both taken care of.

4

Balanced

Every wheel gets spun and balanced on a computer balancer before it goes back on.

5

Torqued & Checked

TPMS relearned, lug nuts torqued to spec, and you're back on the road.

WHAT IT COSTS

Price comes down to your tire size, the brand you pick, and whether you're buying tires through us or bringing your own to mount. Mounting, computer balancing, new valve stems, TPMS service, and getting rid of your old tires are all built into the price - we don't tack those on at pickup. Give us a call at (435) 559-1878 and we can usually quote you a number over the phone.

SIGNS YOU NEED NEW TIRES

Most people wait longer than they should. Here's what our technicians look for during an inspection:

Low Tread

2/32" or less and you're legally worn out. The penny test still works if you want to check yourself.

Cracking Or Dry Rot

Cracks along the sidewall mean the rubber is aging, even if there's tread left.

A Bulge Or Bubble

That's internal damage, and it can fail without much warning. Worth replacing right away.

Wear On One Edge

Usually points to an alignment issue. New tires will just wear the same way if that's not fixed too.

Vibration At Speed

A shake in the steering wheel around 55 to 65 mph is a classic balance problem.

Tires Over Six Years Old

Even with tread left, most manufacturers say replace around age six. Rubber breaks down over time regardless of miles.

WHY PEOPLE KEEP COMING BACK

We're not going anywhere.

We've been doing this out of Salina for more than a decade - not a shop that opens for a season and disappears.

We can handle more than a stock sedan.

Our equipment is built for lifted trucks and off-road wheels too, not just factory setups.

You'll know the price before we start.

We quote you up front. No surprise charges when you come to pick up your vehicle.

We back our work.

If something isn't right after an installation, bring it back and we'll make it right.

BRANDS WE CARRY

We stock Michelin, Goodyear, Bridgestone, Firestone, Pirelli, Continental, Cooper, Toyo, Falken, Yokohama, Hankook, and Nitto, in sizes for daily drivers up through lifted trucks. If you already know what you want but bought it somewhere else, that's fine too - we'll mount and balance tires you bring in just the same.

SERVING SALINA AND THE REST OF SEVIER COUNTY

We're right on South State Street, at the spot where I-70, US-89, and US-50 all come together. That puts us in the path of a little bit of everything: commuters from Richfield and Snow College, ranch and farm trucks, and folks heading out toward the Paiute Trail for the weekend.

If you're heading east on I-70, we're also your last real chance for tire service for a while. The stretch between here and Green River runs over 100 miles without a gas station, let alone a tire shop, so it's worth having your tires checked before you go. We also see plenty of drivers passing through from Redmond, Aurora, Sigurd, Monroe, Elsinore, Glenwood, and Gunnison.
